Small Town Artillery Collective is a 6-piece rock band from Vancouver, BC. They write and perform original live music that draws influences from The Boss to Billy Talent. That means a ton of energy, hard hitting riffs, and a lot of lyrics. They will leave you wanting more even after an uninterrupted 90-min set. The band is helmed by brothers Tom and Derek van Deursen who have been writing and performing music together for over 20 years.

They are a band that is hard to define, but aim to accomplish many things. A set can be sure to include big horn riffs to yell along to, funky grooves, and powerful melodies all tied together by Tom’s offbeat Rock and Roll “we can make it” energy.

The band has carved their own little corner of the Pacific Northwest towns and cities over the past 10 years. Between long-ranging BC tours and showcases at some of the region’s best known festivals (Kaslo Jazz, Edge Of The World), they’ve played over 350 shows together. Signed to JumpAttack! Records out of East Vancouver for their 2018 sophomore album, Don’t Talk Away The Magic, the band is currently nearing completion of their 3rd LP, which they plan to begin releasing in 2026.

The Band’s successes & growth are due to their high-energy live show, quality of original music and video, and strong work ethic to see a childhood dream realized, 20 years in the making.
