Tom van Deursen
Founder & CEO
Team Leader, Songwriter, Jumpy Guy, Singer. Plays guitar. Derek's brother. Likes bird costumes, and recognizes his own mostly healthy obsession with playing live. Likes to go to the venue right away and talk with everybody, and then meet an old friend for a hang but tell them he can't talk because he's saving his voice.
Derek van Deursen
Tech Lead
Drummer, runs the lights. Keeps the books. Sings. Writes songs too, especially the arrangements. Tom's brother. High school teacher, cyclist, deep thinker. Likes a good joke as long as it doesn't discriminate - then he will have a chat with you.
Safiya Labelle
Violin & breathy high harmony. Herbalist and artist. Keeper of the good, strong tea and immune support tinctures. Likes travel thermos's, doing school work in the van, cruising farmers markets on tour and taking photos of mountains out the window. Dresses to kill.
Kyle Vaughan
Electric Guitar. Northern Cowboy and Carpenter. The best boots in the band. Likes to rock hard with lots of his own guitar in his monitor, see if he can close down the bar, and wear his big teddy bear heart on the sleeve of his jean jacket for us all.
Sam Schuette
Bass. Big Grins. Easy-going and hilarious. Loves Zelda, swimming in every. single. lake. we pass on tour, and using all CAPS IN HIS TEXTS WHEN HE IS STOKED which he often is. Plays a mean acoustic guitar, too.
Jocelyn Waugh
Trumpet, and sometimes synth. We call her the Mariachi Thunderbolt - which is self-explanatory after you've heard her play. Her laugh is a guffaw, and her good spirit is infectious. Likes hopping around the globe between a handful of great bands, and we are lucky to have her when we do!
